Annual General Body Meeting of Parents Teachers Association of Holy Redeemer English Medium School was held on March 22 in the school auditorium.

The program began with a prayer song. Mrs Sumithra welcomed the gathering. Correspondent Very Rev Fr Walter DMello, Headmaster Rev Fr Clifford Pinto, Br Aldrick D’Souza, Regent Brother of Ashadeepa, PTA Vice President Mr Ramesh and PTA secretory Tr Pallavi were present.

Mr Vijayendra, Additional Civil and JMFC Judge of Belthangady Taluk court was honored. He is also an uncle and guardian of a class 7 student. During his speech, he expressed his words of appreciation and gratitude towards the school.

Those who secured 100% marks in different subjects in the SSLC board exam 2023-24 were honored.

They were Veona Rego, Vinisha D’Souza, Nija Kulal, Rishel Bennis, Shravya Shetty and Shivani Acharya.

Trainers of extra curricular school activities, Mr Uday dance trainer, Mr Ashok Acharya Karate trainer, Mr Prashanth Chess trainer, Br Aldrick D’Souza Music teacher and Mr Praveen craft trainer, were honored on this occasion.

The headmaster gave an overview on the activities and events planned for the upcoming academic year 2025-26.

Dr Ashwitha Merline Carl, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Father Mullers Medical College and Hospital , Mangalore, was the resource person. She spoke about how students are driven towards the social evils, it’s effects and control remedies.

Parents were given a chance to interact and give suggestions and feedback.

Mrs Akhida Banu proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs Shanthi Pereira compered the program. The PTA meeting concluded with refreshments served.
