The celebration was held during the school assembly initiated by the Kannada Club members, who were guided by the Kannada Club mentors Teachers Pallavi and Sumithra.

Sahala of class 10 and Minal of class 9 compered the event. Swara of class 7 narrated the significance of the day. The school choir members sang glorifying songs of the state. Headmaster Rev. Fr. Clifford Pinto and all staff members paid floral tribute to the portrait of Kannadaambe. Students who took part in the Taluk Kannada Rajyothsava celebration at the Taluk office were recognised.
