Student Alston D’Silva of class 10 of Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady participated in the Belthangady Taluk Level Dasara Sports Meet 2025-26 on August 31.

The event organized in joint collaboration by Dakshina Kannada Administration, Belthangady Taluk Panchayat, Youth Empowerment and Sports Department and School Education and Literacy Department, was held at Sacred Heart PU College ground, Madanthyar. Alston D’Silva secured third place in the 800mt race.
