The feast of Eid was celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on September 25th.
The program began by welcoming the guests. Mr Talhath, Founder and Manager of Anugraha Training Institute, Belthangady, was the chief guest. Correspondent Very Rev Fr Walter DMello and Senior Teacher Mrs Shanthi Pereira were present.
The event began solemnly by a song of praise by class 6 students. The reading from Quran by Fida Fathima and Thasmiya Fathima gave a spiritual vibe. The students of class 2, Gail Miranda, Niha, Wianna D’Souza, Sherwin D’Souza, Shlok Birva, Aathmi and Vaishnavi of class 6 sweetly welcomed the gathering.
Mohammad Shazil beautiful narrated the significance of the day.
Students entertained and highlighted the celebration by their wonderful dances and skit performances.
Pranvitha and Vihan proposed the vote of thanks. Jewel Bennis and Jeethan D’Souza compered the program.
Eid celebration was organised by the students of class 6 and class 2 under the guidance of the teachers Vinitha Moras, Shrilatha and Namitha.
