Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady celebrated the 70th birthday of its Correspondent, Very Rev Fr Walter D’Mello.

Headmaster Rev Fr Clifford Pinto, along with the staff and students made the day special and joyful to the correspondent.

Celebration began with a prayer song by the students, followed by a special prayer offered by Teacher Renita Lasrado.

The birthday celebration was highlighted by cutting the cake, while students sang the melody of the birthday song.

The headmaster wished the correspondent with words of gratitude and good wishes, and presented a bouquet.

Assistant Headmistress Blendin Rodrigues on behalf of all staff while Assistant School Pupil Leader Alston DSilva on behalf of all students presented a bouquet to the correspondent. All staff members whole heartedly presented a birthday gift.

Students of class 6 and 7 increased the vibe of birthday celebration through their wonderful wishing dances.

The correspondent in his message thanked everyone who were involved in making his day a special one and wished the students to do well in the upcoming exams.

Sherlin of class 7 compered the program. Celebration ended with a refreshment.
