The feast of Eid Milad was celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on September 9th.

The program began by welcoming the guests. Mr Ashraf Ali Kunhi, Senior Reporter at Jayakiran Kannada Daily in Belthangady, was the chief guest. Joint Secretary Very Rev Fr Walter DMello, Headmaster Rev Fr Clifford Pinto and PTA Vice President Mrs Priya Lobo were present.

The event began solemnly through a prayer dance by class 6 students. The students of class 4, Rovina, Anvitha, Shama, Ajmal, Avish and Alvina sweetly welcomed the gathering.

Yousuf Hayan of class 6 beautifully narrated the significance of the day.

Students entertained and highlighted the celebration by their wonderful dances and Khavali singing.

Chief guest addressed the gathering on showcasing brotherhood.

Headmaster appreciated the students for their wonderful participation. Joint Secretary highlighted the need of peace in our surroundings.

Yashrik, Bijoy, Haifa, Neethan, Rachel and Anjeline proposed the vote of thanks. Jiya Lobo and Sancia D’Souza compered the program.

Eid celebration was organised by the students of class 6 and class 4 under the guidance of the teachers Mary Suja and Anitha.
