The High School Girls and Primary Girls Handball teams of the Holy Redeemer English Medium School Belthangady, emerged as runners up in the Taluk Level Handball Tournament. The tournament was held in Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady on August 23rd, in collaboration with the School Literacy and Education Department and Block Education Office, Belthangady.

Shravani of class 9 was awarded Best Shooter in under 17 girls, while Subhiksha of class 7 was awarded Best Goal Keeper in under 14. Few players were selected for district level tournament.

Meanwhile, the High School Boys and Higher Primary School Boys team gave a tough fight.

Headmaster Rev Fr Clifford Pinto congratulated the team and the individuals on their achievement.
