The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on January 26 at Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady.
Rev. Fr. Jeevan Walter D’Souza, Assistant Director of Dayalbagh, hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering. He urged students to understand and follow their fundamental rights and duties and to contribute to the nation’s development as responsible citizens.
The Headmaster Rev. Fr. Clifford Pinto, guided the program. Respect was paid to the nation through the singing of the National Anthem, Flag Song, and Patriotic songs.
On the occasion of Republic Day, an Art Carnival 2K26, an exhibition of paintings and handicrafts created by students was opened to parents. Many parents visited the exhibition and appreciated the creativity of the students.
Students, Lahari welcomed the gathering, and Manvi proposed the vote of thanks. The program was compered by student Anisha Desa.
The school students also sang patriotic songs at the Taluk Republic Day celebration held at the Belthangady Taluk Office Ground.
