PTA General Body Meeting 2025

Annual General Body Meeting of Parent Teacher Association of Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady, was held on March 28th in the school auditorium.
The event commenced with a prayerful song by the school choir. Teacher Anitha graciously welcomed the gathering. Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Walter DMello, Headmaster Rev. Fr. Clifford Pinto, PTA Vice President Mr Richard Sequeira and Secretary Teacher Elvita Pais were present. The secretary presented the report of the previous meeting.
Dr Deekshitha, Pediatrician at Belthangady Government Hospital was a resource person who gave a talk on HPV vaccine prescribed by the government.
Students of Class 7 who secured highest marks in Mangalore Diocesan Value Education and Catechism Exam, and Students who cleared the Drawing Grade Exams conducted by the Karnataka State Examination Assessment Board, were honored by the Correspondent. Cash prizes winners of Kindergarten online competitions held in the school social media platforms were honored by the Headmaster and prize winners of other events held recently were honored by the PTA Vice President.
Mrs. Gretta Bennis who served in the school selflessly with dedication and love, for 16 long years as a helper  was honored by the Correspondent.
Mr Gururaj Hegde of Generation Next Education and Learning System, as a resource person addressed the parents about the significance of Abacus and conducted some interactive brain gym exercises for the parents and teachers. Headmaster thanked the PTA Vice President, members and all parents for their support and enthusiasm expressed during the major events of the school. In a nutshell, the headmaster put forth the plans and regulations for the coming academic year. Correspondent in his address stressed on the role of parents and teachers in molding the students rightfully. Teacher Lorna Lobo proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting concluded with the school choir singing the school anthem, followed by refreshments.
